Erica's Bio

Erica is wife and mother of two boys who loves all things Jesus, coffee, and travel. She and her family have enjoyed seeing God’s creations across the US, Ireland, Italy, and Africa. As a teenager, Erica felt the call to care for sick infants when she caught a glimpse of a tiny baby through the windows of a NICU.

Cost was a concern when she reached college age, as she was the first in her family to move toward higher level education. So, she started at a small tech school and became an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). From there, she got married, worked full time, and continued her education with the assistance of employer tuition reimbursement. She recalls writing in her journal after her very first NICU shift how it was her hope that she would never lose her love of babies and their families. All these years later, she hasn’t.

Upon becoming a mother herself and experiencing high-risk maternal care, bed rest, HELLP syndrome, and a NICU stay, she grew in her ability to understand and support others through hard times. She and her husband became homeschooling parents, and she continued to love her work.

Years of caring for the sickest of newborns has prepared her to transition to care of all newborns outside of the hospital setting. This season brings her the opportunity to care for other families in the comfort of their own homes, just as she has been able to care for her own children at home. Erica continues to adore infants, teaching, and supporting their families, and being a listening ear to all that their Mamas experience. It does not matter if it is a first baby or the sixth, a healthy infant or one with medical needs, each new journey in motherhood brings its own challenges and joys.

With many years of experience and a gracious heart it is my goal to support your baby and you as you all settle in together at home.
